What Is a Spend Limit?

A Spend Limit is a Responsible Gaming tool that sets a cap on the total amount you can spend at MONOPOLY Casino during a chosen period—daily, weekly, or monthly. This helps you manage your entertainment budget and keep gaming fun and comfortable.

How Spend Limits Work

• Spend Limits are based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and follow fixed calendar periods:
  • Daily Limit: 00:00 to 23:59 UTC, resets daily at midnight.
  • Weekly Limit: Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC.
  • Monthly Limit: First to last calendar day of the month, resetting at 00:00 UTC on the first of the next month.
• Once you set your Spend Limit and confirm, it takes effect immediately and includes any spending already made during the current period.
  • Example: If you have a weekly Spend Limit of $250 and have spent $25, you have $225 remaining for that week.
• If you reach your Spend Limit, you won’t be able to spend again until the next period begins. The limit remains until you choose to change or remove it.

Making Changes to Your Spend Limit

• Reducing your Spend Limit takes effect immediately.
• Increasing or removing your Spend Limit requires a waiting period. Your new settings will only take effect after your current limit period ends. 
• You’ll need to click ‘Confirm’ for all changes to be applied.

Important Notes on Spend Limits

• A Spend Limit does not impact how much you can deposit or withdraw.
• Winnings from wagers do not count against your Spend Limit.
  • Example: If you deposit $100 and set a daily spending limit of $20, after wagering $10 and winning $50, your balance is $140. You can then wager a total of $60, as only deposited or bonus funds count towards your Spend Limit—not your winnings.
