Having Trouble with Geolocation? Let’s Try These Steps!
We’re sorry you’re having trouble with geolocation—let’s try a few more things to help resolve the issue.
Turn On GPS and Wi-Fi
If your phone has GPS or Wi-Fi, please ensure both are turned on before moving on to the next steps.
Locate Yourself Using Google Maps
Try verifying your location using Google Maps:
- Click here to open Google Maps.
- Tap the gray dot above the yellow “Street View” figure—this will attempt to find your current location.
- Start by doing this on your phone, then try it on your computer as well.
- When prompted, click “Allow” to give Google permission to access your location and zoom in on the map.
If you don’t see the gray dot, click the question mark at the bottom right of Google Maps and select “Return to classic Google Maps” to find the dot.
Please Allow Time for Updates
Sometimes, it can take up to 24 hours for Google Maps to update your location, so if it doesn’t work right away, please try again later.
