Pennsylvania Account Security & Payment Method Updates
To help protect your account and meet Pennsylvania regulations, we’ve updated our security and payment method rules. Please review the details below.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
To keep your account secure, identity verification is required.
- You must complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) at least once every 14 days on each device you use.
- MFA may include an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator), biometrics (face or fingerprint), approved apps/software, or SMS codes (available through January 1, 2027).
- This helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Card Payment Limits (Credit/Debit Cards)
You may have no more than 2 credit or debit cards linked to your account at any time.
If you remove a card:
- You may add a new card immediately.
- There is no waiting period to add a replacement card.
Grandfathered Accounts
If you had more than 2 cards linked before this update took effect, you may continue using those cards.
However, if you want to add a new card:
- You must first reduce your total to one card.
- Then you may immediately add a new card (bringing you back to two total).
ACH / Online Banking
ACH (online bank transfer) accounts are not affected by the 2-card limit.
If you use services such as Trustly or VIP Preferred, there is no set limit on linked bank accounts. However, the 2-card limit still applies to credit/debit cards.
Third-Party Wallets (Apple Pay & PayPal)
You may only have one wallet available at a time.
For example:
- If you deposit using Apple Pay, PayPal will not be available.
- If you deposit using PayPal, Apple Pay will not be available.
Only one wallet option can be active on your account at any given time.
Address Verification (AVS)
When adding a new payment method:
- Your address and ZIP code must match.
- If the address does not match, your name must exactly match your account name.
- Additional review may occur if verification fails.
Location (Geolocation) Checks
Location verification is required:
- At login
- While playing
- When creating your account
- When adding a new payment method
- When withdrawing more than $10,000 in total
These checks confirm you are physically located in an approved area.
Annual ID Verification (KYC)
You must maintain a valid government-issued photo ID on file.
- If your ID expires, you have 90 days to upload a new valid ID.
- If a valid ID is not uploaded within 90 days, your account will remain active, but wagering and deposits will be temporarily disabled. You will still be able to withdraw funds and access your account settings.
- The timeline for updating your ID requirements is February 28, 2027.
You will receive a reminder if your ID is nearing expiration.
Relocation from New Jersey to Pennsylvania
If you relocate from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and complete the required verification, you may have up to two card payment methods on your account at one time. If you already have more than two cards saved, you may continue using them; however, if you remove a card, you will only be able to keep up to two cards on your account moving forward.
